Swansea's oldest department store closed its doors for the last time on Saturday.
House of Fraser own the David Evans store in Swansea
David Evans had been trading in the city for 140 years.
However, in March 2003, House of Fraser who own the store, announced it would be closing with the loss of up to 245 jobs.
The company previously said the outlet on Princess Way was still making a profit but it was no longer viable within its business plans.
David Evans opened its doors as an independent store back in 1865 and later became part of the House of Fraser.
Property developers Rockcliffe have been in talks with the House of Fraser about the future of the city centre site.
Developers behind the Castle Quays shopping project in Swansea say the change of ownership will "pave the way" for the first phase of work starting in Spring 2005.
