Richard Berry drives his Mystery Machine back and fore to work

There is no mystery in Swansea as to who is behind the wheel when Richard Berry drives past.
The Scooby-Doo fan has turned his van into his very own Mystery Machine.
From the psychedelic bodywork to the orange fur inside he has the vehicle used by Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred down to pat.
With the theme song playing from the stereo, Richard turns heads driving back and fore to his job at Swansea marina.

I can't stop laughing as people wave and sound their horns

Scooby-Doo follows the adventures a semi-articulate Great Dane and his human friends as they travel America solving mysteries.
It was a popular cartoon series in the 1970s and 80s and more recently two hit family movies.
It was while watching the second at the cinema this year that Richard got the idea to transform his Leyland DAF van.
"I don't think I've ever had a car that I've not sprayed," he said.
"I used to watch the cartoons when I was younger and when I was watching the film a few weeks ago I thought why not spray the van."
He took a small toy model to a spray paint garage and asked them to recreate the colours.
Richard says he has always been a fan of the cartoons and film

Then helped by his father Derrick he set about transforming the van.
"They could not stop laughing when I asked for the paint," he said.
"It cost about £45 including the orange fur.
"It used to be a terrible thing to drive, there is no power steering and the engine is on its last legs.
"But now it is excellent - I can't stop laughing as people wave and sound their horns.
"The amount of cars that stop is amazing and we've had children come knocking on the door asking for a ride.
"It's not fast or elegant, but for fun it's number one.
"It can do a million smiles a gallon."
His father Derek said: "We are getting rows off some children because they say we've missed the flowers on the side.
"We've made the stencils and are just waiting for a few dry days so we can spray them on."
