Bryan Quinn's family said he had a "heart of gold"

A 23-year-old man has died after a collision with a bus in a city centre. Pedestrian Bryan Quinn was taken to hospital after the incident in Wood Street, Cardiff, on the afternoon of Monday, 6 July. He died six days later. His family said in a tribute issued by police that he was a "lovely boy" who would be "deeply missed". Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to call the road policing unit on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. South Wales Police said in a statement: "A 23-year-old male pedestrian injured following a road traffic collision on Wood Street, Cardiff, at around 2.40pm on Monday, 6 July has passed away in hospital. "Bryan David Quinn was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, following the collision. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated and he passed away on Sunday, 12 July." His family said: "He was a lovely boy with a heart of gold who loved life. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends."
