An NHS Trust has suspended three of its managers over concerns raised about the presence of asbestos.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been called in to Cwm Taf NHS Trust which covers Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.

The trust has confirmed three managers are off work while an investigation is carried out.

Both the trust and HSE said it was not appropriate to comment further as an inspection was ongoing.
