Mother, 25, on baby danger charge

A 25-year-old mother has appeared in court charged with exposing a child to danger after an eight-month-old boy was found in a railway station toilet.

The woman, who cannot be named, is believed to be from Rhondda in south Wales, but was living in Devon.

The case was heard by magistrates in Torquay, who adjourned the matter to 19 December at the same court.

British Transport Police found a child in a ladies' toilet at Bristol Temple Meads station on 14 November.

The boy, who was unharmed, was later put under the supervision of Rhondda Cynon Taf social services.
