South Wales Police released this image of the man they want to question

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to question in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Cardiff almost seven months ago.

The woman aged 21 claims she was drugged and raped after she went voluntarily to a Cardiff Bay flat with two men.

A 31-year-old man has already been arrested and is on police bail.

South Wales Police now want to question Fadi Abuwarda, a Palestinian man who is believed to live in the Cardiff area.

Mr Abuwarda, who is in his late 20s or early 30s, is in the CCTV images released by police.

Police said the victim was in Cardiff city centre before she went to the Bay area with the two men early on 28 January, 2008.

Anyone who recognised the description or the person in the CCTV image, or who has any information, is asked to contact Det Con Dafydd Hobbs at Cardiff Bay CID on 029 2022 2111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
