Ten arrests over A&E man's murder
Man believed to be Tran Nguyen also known as Quang Duong Tran
Police still want to confirm the name of the man who died
Ten people are still being questioned in connection with the murder of a man, who was left with fatal injuries at a hospital's accident and emergency unit.

Tran Nguyen, 44, from Vietnam, died on 20 November after being carried into the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport.

Detectives said he had been subject to a "sustained" attack.

Seven men and three women were arrested in the London area on Thursday night and taken to Ystrad Mynach for questioning by Gwent Police.

Mr Nguyen was brought into hospital at around 1400 GMT on 20 November but died later.

Detectives established he was an illegal immigrant who left a wife and two children in Vietnam and was sending money home.

Police said he had travelled through Europe, particularly Germany, and arrived in the UK in September, spending time in London and Newport.

Two women, aged 41 and 27, who were previously arrested in connection with the murder, are still on police bail pending further inquiries.

A man in his 20s, who had been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to the death, is also still on police bail.
