Car passenger, 17, dies in crash
Police have named a teenager who was killed in a crash in north Wales on Saturday night.

Rhodri Rhys Roberts, 17, from Old Colwyn, was a passenger in a Renault Clio, which left the road and hit a road sign on the pavement in Llandudno.

Police said the driver, also 17, seemed to lose control on the A470 Conwy Road heading towards Llanrhos just before 2130 GMT.

The driver's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

North Wales Police said they were particularly keen to speak to the driver of a red hatchback car similar to a Peugeot 205 with faded paintwork.

They said the driver or passenger in this car could have vital information after it stopped at the scene of the accident.

Any witnesses are asked to contact police on 0845 607 1001.
