Teenager missing on way to work

Police want Daniel Brown to get in touch to confirm he is safe
The family of a teenager have appealed for him to get in touch after he failed to turn up at work.

Daniel Brown, 19, was last seen by relatives when he left home in Bedwellty Road, Aberbargoed, south Wales, at 0700 GMT on Tuesday.

He usually caught a bus from Commercial Street, Aberbargoed to Highfields Nursing Home, Blackwood.

Police said his failure to arrive was unusual behaviour, and urged him to let them know he is safe and well.

Daniel is 5ft 11ins (1.80m), of slim build, with shaved brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing faded ripped jeans, a blue checked coat and a camouflage backpack.

Bettws appeal

Meanwhile police in Bettws are appealing for information about a missing 15-year-old boy.

Joshua Jefferies
15-year-old Joshua Jefferies went missing last month

Joshua Jefferies was last seen at his home in Bassaleg, near Newport on 26 October.

He has since been seen in the Pill area of Newport and is known to have visited Cardiff.

He is described as mixed race, 5ft 3ins (1.60m), of heavy build, with cropped dark hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a light blue tracksuit top and black tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to contact police on 01633 838111.
