Moving customer service work makes 'good business sense'

A financial services firm is creating 100 jobs at its headquarters in south Wales.
GMAC Financial Services, based at Parc Nantgarw, Treforest, will add to its workforce by the end of the year.
The firm, which relocated to Wales in 2000 and specialises in car finance, will take its workforce to 270 in total.
The new posts will be in customer service and debt collection.
Managing director Theo Kortland said: "We have been impressed by the highly motivated and skilled workforce.
"GMAC's headquarters is based in Nantgarw so it makes good business sense to locate the important customer service and collections function alongside the rest of the business here."
Meanwhile, 110 jobs were announced over the weekend at a new Focus DIY store in Blackwood, near Caerphilly.
The store will open at the Blackwood Gate retail park in the autumn of 2006.
Developers Develica say they will also contribute £200,000 to Caerphilly Council's Oak Terrace bypass and create a new £40,000 wildlife area to protect important wildlife near the river Sirhowy.
