A lifeboat was needed to reach the stranded people

Coastguards urged sun-seekers to check the tides and weather forecasts after 21 people and a dog were cut off by the rising tide.
The group was rescued by a lifeboat after becoming stranded on Sully Island in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Members of the public alerted the coastguard at about 1530 BST on Sunday.
The Penarth RNLI inshore lifeboat was called in to ferry the people back to the mainland.
No one was hurt in the incident on the island, which can be reached on foot at low tide.
A spokesman for Swansea Coastguards, which coordinated the rescue, said: "We would urge people to always check tide times and weather before they go to the
beach."
He said tidal and safety information could be obtained on the coastguard website or by ringing local coastguards.
