Speedboat blaze blamed on arson

A speedboat which was at the roadside is believed to have been deliberately set alight during the early hours, according to firefighters.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service dealt with the blaze in the Abersoch area of Gwynedd.

One applicance was sent to the scene, at Llangian, on the Llyn peninsula, which is about approximately 2km (1.2 miles) inland.

The fire service were called just after 0400 BST. Nobody was injured.
