The couple have bought a pink car to go with the hotel

Council bureaucracy is being blamed for a delay in repainting a seaside hotel after it was deemed to have been painted too bright a pink.
The Oasis Hotel on Llandudno's promenade were told to submit a planning application for the repaint after the owners lost an appeal.
David and Ann Blanchard now say their application has been refused because they used the wrong coloured pen.
Conwy council said the matter was subject to the usual planning process.
Mr Blanchard said they had to fill in a planning application for the repaint because the hotel was within a conservation area - despite the fact they were being told to undertake the work by the council.
"Then it was sent back to us and we were told the application was turned down because we had to outline our property on an ordnance survey map in red, and we'd used a black pen, so now we have to reapply again.
"We want to paint before the season, but the council is now stopping us, after coming after us to change the colour for a year," he added.
Mr Blanchard said what had also upset them was that it seemed there was one rule for some and another for others.
"Half the hotels in the town don't comply with the colours in the schedule, which states only pastel colours are to be used, no bright green, yellows or blue, and there are plenty of those," he said.
The couple said they have also been told they have to paint a galvanised balcony at the back of the hotel a grey colour.
"Galvanised metal is already grey, and if we paint it everyone knows the paint will peel off in a couple of years.
"Council bureaucracy has got a bit silly," Mr Blanchard said.
A Conwy council spokeswoman said: "The matter is subject to the usual planning process."
