At least one person has been injured following a crash involving a bin lorry, bus and car in Gwynedd.
The accident happened just before 1100 BST on Tuesday outside Dolydd Garage near Groeslon, Caernarfon.
Garage owner Emyr Hughes said there were seven passengers on the bus travelling from Caernarfon.
Gwynedd County Council confirmed one of their bin lorries was involved in the incident. No-one from the bus company was available for comment.
Garage owner Emyr Hughes said: "I'm not sure what happened, but it appears the bus hit a car then went on to hit the bin lorry.
"Workmen from the garage went on the bus to see if they could help.
"There were about seven passengers on board and some of them had hurt themselves when they were thrown against the seats in front."
Road closed
He said the car was being driven by an elderly woman, but she appeared to be unhurt.
"The bin lorry driver was trapped by his leg, and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
"There was a hell of a mess on the bin lorry, and the road is still closed at the moment, although they are clearing it, and it should be re-opened soon," he added.
A spokesman for Gwynedd County Council confirmed a council refuse lorry had been involved.
"The emergency services attended to the incident with the full support of the Council's Highways and Municipal Service," he said.
Hospital
No-one was available to comment from the Silver Star bus company based in Caernarfon.
A spokesman at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor said six people had been taken to hospital as a result of the accident.
"Two are currently being assessed, one has already been admitted, and the others have been sent home," he said.
