Missing hospital patient is found

North Wales Police say a patient who went missing from a ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor on Sunday morning has been found safe and well.

The 47-year-old woman was reported missing at 0830 BST and a major search of the area was launched.

An RAF rescue helicopter, the force helicopter, inshore lifeboat, coastguard search teams and search and rescue dogs were all involved.

But a police spokesman said they heard the woman was safe at 1600 BST.
