Inquest opened on hanged couple

Police were called to the house in St Davids Road on Friday
An inquest has opened into the deaths of a couple found hanged at their home in Llandudno, Conwy.

Henry William Tidswell, known as Harry, a 63-year-old architect, and his wife Elizabeth, 54, known as Jane, were found by North Wales Police on Friday.

They had been married for over 20 years and Mrs Tidswell was believed to have been in poor health recently.

The deaths are not being treated as suspicious. The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.

North Wales central deputy coroner John Gittins opened the inquest on Tuesday.

The preliminary cause of death was said to be hanging subject to inquiries being completed.
