Man, 19, in court after stabbing
A 19-year-old has been remanded in custody, charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed on Anglesey.

Dominic Michael Abdul Hughes, of Amlwch, appeared before Llangefni Magistrates' Court.

He was charged after North Wales Police were called to a house in Craig y Don, Amlwch, at 0140 GMT on New Year's Day.

A 53-year-old man, taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor following the incident, is in a critical but stable condition.

No application was made for bail and Mr Hughes will appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on 11 January.
