Debris and rocks fell on to the A5 after heavy rainfall
A stretch of the A5 in Gwynedd will be closed until Wednesday while work to stabilise a rock fall is completed.

The road at Nant Ffrancon, between Bethesda and Ogwen Lake, has been closed since Monday afternoon.

Debris and rocks fell on to the road overnight following heavy rain in the area.

North Wales Trunk Road Agency staff and Gwynedd Council officers went to the site and decided to close the road until the work was completed.
