Person dies in two-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist has died after an accident involving a van on the A5 in Conwy.

The collision happened on Sunday at around 1050 BST near the village of Glasfryn, near Cerrigudrudion, North Wales Police said.

The road was closed for several hours afterwards and local diversions were put in place.

The van driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries and police are appealing for witnesses.
