Walker injured in Snowdonia fall

The man was walking on the Nantlle Ridge in Snowdonia
A 58-year-old walker has been airlifted to hospital after falling on a mountain in Snowdonia.

An RAF rescue helicopter from Valley in Anglesey flew the man to Glan Clwyd Hospital at Bodelwyddan, following the accident on Saturday evening.

The man, from Surrey, was said to have suffered a broken hand and minor head injury in the fall.

The incident happened while he was walking with a party on the Nantlle ridge.
