Even low-lying Valley on Anglesey had a white start

Police have issued a warning to motorists after a man suffered serious back injuries when his car went off the road on the A55 Black Cat roundabout in Llandudno Junction, Conwy.
The Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen was also due to be closed by early afternoon because of the weather.
South Gwynedd was badly affected by drifting snow earlier in the day.
Both the A493 between Towyn and Dolgellau and the B4405 Bryncrug to Talyllyn roads were partially closed.
North Wales Police said major roads are passable with care, but people are advised to take additional care when travelling on smaller roads which are not gritted.
Schools across the region were closed especially in more outlying areas where pupils and teachers travel further distances to attend.
Due to the south easterly winds, areas of Pennal, Aberdyfi, Tywyn and Bryncrug experienced substantial snow drift problems, as well as the A487 Llanllyfni bypass, A5 Nant Ffrancon, A4086 Nant Peris and A470 Bwlch Oerddrws.
"We have gritters out in these areas and are working to keep the roads open," said a county council spokesman.
Across Gwynedd 29 primary schools, six secondary schools and two special schools were closed.
In Conwy, 5cm of snow fell on higher ground overnight.

"Crews were out all night gritting and ploughing as required, and with more snow forecast for during the day, that'll continue as needed," said a spokesman.
In Denbighshire one secondary school and seven primary schools were closed, but there were no problems reported on the roads.
Flintshire Council said there were some school closures, with details being put on their web site.
Seven schools were closed in the county of Wrexham but there were no road closures.
Meanwhile, Isle of Anglesey County Council reported no weather-related problems.
