Firefighters prevented the blaze spreading to other chalets
A man has died in a fire at a holiday chalet in north Wales.

North Wales Fire Service were called to the chalet at Llanddulas Chalet Park, near Colwyn Bay, at 0545 BST on Sunday after a person was reported missing.

Crews from Abergele and Colwyn Bay tackle the flames and stopped them spreading to chalets nearby.

The dead man's body was discovered inside the burned chalet. A joint police and fire service investigation is under way.

However, the fatal fire is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
