Pop star's assault charge

A member of a Welsh girl band has been committed to Caernarfon Crown Court, facing an assault charge.

Pheena singer Ceri Bostock, 22, from Llandwrog appeared before magistrates in Llangefni charged with assault causing actual body harm.

She is charged with assaulting Robert Wyn Jones in Caernarfon last November.

Ms Bostock was released on bail and she will appear for a plea and directions hearing before Caernarfon Crown Court on 3 March.

Formed in 2002, Pheena have supported boy band Blue and won BBC Radio Cymru's Best Pop Act 2004 award.
