The case was adjourned for psychiatric reports

A dog was killed after being punched four times to the head by a 44-year-old man, a court has heard.
Scooter, a Chinese crested lion dog, was found dead in a wardrobe by his owners after he was attacked by Michael Morris.
Llandudno magistrates bailed Morris for psychiatric reports after he addmitted beating the dog to death.
The court heard on Wednesday that the dog had disturbed Morris while he was watching TV.
Defence solicitor Richard Williams said Morris had killed Scooter, a rare breed, at a house where he had been placed by social services in Llandudno.
He was now at the Ablett psychiatric unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Scooter and another dog had been running around upstairs while Morris was watching TV.
It caused a disturbance and he then killed the dog, the solicitor added.
Court chairman Emrys Williams said a medical report was needed before sentencing "so we can consider various options."
