North Wales Police are examining CCTV footage of the raid

Detectives are hunting a gang who stole three vehicles worth a total of 50,000 from a north Wales car showroom in an early morning raid.

The cars - a blue Renault Megane convertible, a silver estate, and a silver Scenic - were taken from Slater's dealership at Abergele on Sunday morning.

Police are looking at CCTV footage from the garage which shows three men at the scene.

Company spokesman Nigel Lawson said the convertible was a relatively rare car.

A briefcase stolen in the 0730 GMT raid was found near Holywell.

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 0845 607 1002.
