Two farmers helped in the rescue by lifting the plane to free the pilot
A pilot escaped unhurt after his light aircraft crash-landed upside down in a field near Wrexham.
The 56-year-old came down in a field in Burton Green, Llay, shortly before 1100 BST on Tuesday after experiencing fuel problems.
He was helped by a local farmer and was taken to Wrexham's Maelor Hospital.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said "The pilot was forced to land due to fuel problems but landed upside down. The pilot is unhurt."
Two farmers ploughing a field helped free the pilot, one of them using his tractor.
