Police investigating the disappearance of an Indonesian woman in Wrexham seven months ago want to trace owners of a "distinctive" type of suitcase.

Ermatati Rodgers, 41, known as Tati, was last seen at shops near Gwersyllt in early January.

The large lilac "Starburst" trolley cases were on sale for £30 at Wrexham's TJ Hughes store in January.

A 26-year-old man from the Wrexham area was arrested in April, but was later released without charge.

Appealing for information about the suitcases, Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jones said: "This is another line of inquiry that we are pursuing.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who has purchased a suitcase of this specific design, from the Chester Street store in Wrexham since January 2008.

"In addition we would like to hear from anyone who has seen such a suitcase abandoned or discarded since January this year. "

Officers began investigating Ms Rodgers' disappearance when they received a report she had not been seen since 4 January.
