Coach fire passengers evacuated

A coach driver was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation after the vehicle caught fire near Wrexham.

She was released from hospital several hours after the blaze on the A525 near Brymbo on Saturday afternoon.

The 11 passengers were safely evacuated as the blaze caught hold in the coach's engine.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was thought to have been caused by an electrical fault in the engine compartment.
