Second inquest opens after murder
Gabriela Bullock
Gabriela Bullock is said to have "got on with absolutely everyone"
An inquest has been opened and adjourned on a man found on a seafront promenade the day after his partner was discovered stabbed to death.

Tony Hartley, 37, was discovered in Rhyl, Denbighshire, on Friday, near Gabriela Bullock's flat.

Mrs Bullock, 49, a German-born divorcee who had an adult daughter, had been found murdered on Thursday in her home in River Street, West End.

North Wales Police are not treating Mr Hartley's death as suspicious.

Mrs Bullock, known as Gaby, was found at her home by her daughter Jacqueline and her landlord, reported the Daily Post.

The newspaper also reported that her daughter had gone to her flat because she was concerned that she did not arrive for a meeting.

Earlier this year, Mr Hartley was ordered by Flintshire magistrates to undertake unpaid work after stealing a cheque from a friend.

The court was told he stole the cheque from a drunken friend after being hit hard by the suicide of his own brother, who had hanged himself.

At the time Mr Hartley paid tribute to police, probation and psychiatric workers for helping him to get his life together, after problems including depression.

Mrs Bullock had accompanied him to court and he said he was in a new and positive relationship.
