Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in a seaside town have found a man's body.

North Wales Police said the second body was found on the seafront at Rhyl.

The body of divorcee Gabriela Elfrieda Bullock, 49, was found with stab wounds at a flat in River Street in the West End of the town on Thursday.

Officers said their murder inquiry was continuing and they are waiting for the results of a post-mortem examination into the man's death on Saturday.

They also said a post-mortem examination into Mrs Bullock's death revealed she had died from stab wounds.

Mrs Bullock, was originally from Germany, and was known to her family and friends as Gaby.

In a statement, her family said: "She was well loved by her only child Jacqueline Bullock, and even though she was divorced from her husband Neil Francis Bullock, father of their child, Gaby and Neil remained close friends despite their divorce.

"Gaby will be sadly missed by her family and friends."
