The driver disappeared on his way to Colwyn Bay
A lorry driver whose vehicle was found in a lay-by has turned up safe and well, say North Wales Police.

The missing man was named by his employers as Gareth Price, who had been due to arrive at home in Rhyl, Denbighshire, on Saturday morning.

His disappearance was described as "out of character" and a search was launched after his vehicle was found on the A5 at West Fulton in Shropshire.

North Wales Police confirmed on Monday that he had turned up in Bangor.

Earlier on Monday, staff at the Grand Prix Express haulage firm in Colwyn Bay, Conwy, said they were worried for his safety.

Mr Price had been travelling from Rugby, Warwickshire, to Colwyn Bay, but his lorry was found in a lay-by on the A5 at West Fulton.

West Mercia Police, who dealt with the initial search, had earlier appealed for information, and said his wife was concerned for his welfare.
