Car found in missing family hunt

A car which the missing family were thought to be using has been found
Police officers who are trying to trace a missing family from Flintshire say they have now found a vehicle they were believed to be using.

The white Vauxhall Astra Estate was found in Flint, four days after the family was last seen.

Paula Sears, 28, and Kevin Jones, from Bagillt, as well as three-year-old Jacob Luke Sears and Shauna Anne-Marie Sears, two, remain missing.

Both children are the subject of an interim care order.

Paula Sears and the two children were last seen at 1445 BST on Monday when they were visiting their mother at her home in Bagillt.

Chief Inspector Simon Shaw ofNorth Wales Police renewed an appeal for information about the missing family

"We would like to reiterate the fact that we need to ensure the children are safe and well," he said.
