Police have arrested four men in a north Wales flat after armed officers were called to deal with an incident.
Officers received a call at around 1025 GMT on Thursday from a member of the public reporting an assault.
A negotiator and police from the firearms unit were deployed to deal with the situation inside a flat on Marine Road in Pensarn near Abergele.
North Wales Police said four people were arrested.
One was arrested for the earlier assault and the others were arrested for obstructing police in the execution of their duty.
A spokeswoman said: "A negotiator was deployed. The situation deteriorated due to the consumption of alcohol.
"Officers entered the flat and firearms officers were only authorised to contain the scene in the first instance," she added.
