A bomb disposal team has been called to deal with the grenade

A gardener sparked a major alert in his street in a seaside town after digging up a hand grenade.
North Wales Police reacted by putting up road blocks at the entrances to Albert Street in Rhyl until a bomb disposal team arrived.
However, officers did not need to evacuate the area when the explosive was discovered on Saturday.
North Wales Police said they received a call from the man's son who told them his father had discovered a 'pineapple' shaped object at around 1145BST.

"As is normal in these sorts of cases, we called a bomb disposal team which came from Cheshire," said a force spokesman.

"It took about an hour to arrive so in the meantime we cordoned off roads into Albert Street as a precaution, because we didn't know at the time whether the grenade was live or not.
"The bomb disposal team then dealt with the grenade."
He added: "From what I've been told, it appears as though it is a WWII hand grenade which was pineapple-shaped with a handle, but it was heavily corroded.
"It's unclear how the hand grenade made it into the gentleman's garden, but these things have a habit of cropping up from time to time."
On 10 May, homes were evacuated in Criccieth, Gwynedd, after the discovery of a hand grenade in a cupboard.
