Police have arrested a second man over the attempted murder of a 28-year-old who was doused in petrol and set alight.
It is alleged that the victim, David Prescott, was driven to an isolated spot near Mold and attacked last week.
The second man, a 28-year-old from Mold, walked into the town's police station to speak to officers on Wednesday night.
Paul Nicholas from Flint has already been charged with attempted murder.
He appeared at Flintshire Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.
Mr Nicholas' case was transferred to the crown court, and he will appear at a preliminary hearing at Mold next week.
The 28-year-old victim from Leeswood, who has recently been living in Merseyside, is being treated at Whiston Hospital in Liverpool for severe burns to his legs and hand.
Detectives investigating the incident say that the car alleged to have been used in the incident was later found burned out in the nearby village of Cilcain.
