Soldier killed in Brecon Beacons road crash

A soldier was killed in a road crash while training in the Brecon Beacons last month, it has emerged.

Craig Johnson, 23, from east London, was in collision with a vehicle at the Sennybridge training area, near Brecon, on Thursday, 18 February.

Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the incident, which happened on an unclassified road in an area known as Dixie's Corner at 2300 GMT.

The soldier served in the 1st Battalion The Rifles.

The Ministry of Defence said its thoughts were with the soldier's family.
