Woman dies after car struck tree

A woman has died after her car left the road last weekend and hit a tree, say Dyfed-Powys Police.

She was driving a Toyota Yaris on the A4079 at Three Cocks, near Hay-on-Wye, at about 1600 GMT on Saturday.

The woman, who was from Builth Wells, Powys, and has not been named, is understood to have died at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny on Tuesday.

She was believed to have been travelling from Llyswen, near Brecon, towards Three Cocks.
