Missing man found safe and well

Police said Jonathan Smith had family and friends in the Neath area

A Ceredigion man who had been missing since Christmas Day has been found "safe and well", say police.

Officers had been searching for Jonathan Smith, 35, from Pontshan near Llandysul, and had appealed for information about his whereabouts.

He was last seen in Aberystwyth on the morning of 25 December.

Dyfedd Powys Police had issued their appeal on Monday after Mr Smith was reported missing on Saturday 27 December.
