Detectives investigating a serious sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl at a fancy dress event in Powys have arrested a 25-year-old man.
The alleged attack took place near St Idloes Church in Llanidloes at about 2200 BST last Friday.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the 25-year-old was in custody while inquiries continued.
Police are still looking for a man aged between 20 and 30 who was wearing a red dressing gown and brown sandals.
The man is said to be 5ft 6ins (1.6m) tall with short brown hair.
Police are also appealing for two young people to come forward who may have seen the offender and victim together at the time of the attack.
CCTV footage
Det Insp Ian Andrews, who is leading the investigation, said an incident room had been set up at Newtown police station and involved officers from across the force area.
He said they had been carrying out inquiries at pubs in Llanidloes and had been collecting CCTV footage.
"In particular, however, the police would like to speak to two people who were in the area of St Idloes church about 10pm," said Det Insp Andrews.
"It is believed that these people actually saw the offender and victim together in the area of the church and also engaged in a brief conversation with the male.
"These people at the time would have been unaware that anything was amiss.
"The two people were described as a boy and a girl, the boy had blond hair and (wearing) Emo clothes, which we understand is predominantly black clothing, and the girl had quite long dark hair."
People with information are asked to contact the police incident room on 0845 330 2000.
