An unexploded bomb has been removed from a garden in Brecon, Powys.

The alarm was raised when the device was found at an address in Coryton Close shortly before 1400 GMT on Wednesday.

The Army's bomb disposal unit later dealt with the problem, although it is not yet known what type of device it was.

As a precaution, Dyfed-Powys Police put a 100m cordon in place around the emergency scene.
