Royal Welsh sex assault inquiry

A teenager has been sexually assaulted in a camping area near the Royal Welsh showground.

Dyfed-Powys Police said she was assaulted near the entrance to a field at about midnight on Wednesday, in an area adjacent to the show.

Officers have launched an inquiry and distributed leaflets appealing for more details. Anyone with information can contact police on 0845 330 2000.

Police said she would be interviewed and supported by a specialist officer.
