Police are appealing for information about a missing mid Wales man who is thought to be working in Ibiza selling timeshare properties.

Paul James, 38, from the hamlet of Hendomen, near Montgomery, Powys, has not been seen since the summer when he was living and working in Derbyshire.

The Dyfed-Powys force said it was concerned for the welfare of Mr James, who is 6ft tall and of stocky build.

People with information are asked to contact police at Newtown.

Officers said Mr James worked in the Sponden area of Derbyshire during the summer, but had not been heard from since. He was reported missing by his family.

It is believed he is selling timeshares on the Spanish island of Ibiza and police are appealing to friends and work colleagues who have seen him recently to contact them.

Mr James has brown eyes and is balding, but has dark brown sideburns. He usually has a goatee-style beard, but is sometimes clean shaven.

People with information about Mr James can contact police in Newtown on 0845 330 2000
