Missing man found at caravan park
A search for a man thought to have been missing on the Brecon Beacons overnight has been called off after he was found safe and well at a caravan park.

Dyfed-Powys Police said Brian Hurford, 58, of Swansea, was found at the park where he was on holiday.

A search involving mountain rescue teams, police and an RAF helicopter took place overnight for him.

They were alerted after he was last seen near Sinc y Giedd on the Black Mountain range at 1700 BST on Sunday.

Mr Hurford was on a camping holiday with his wife Caroline at the Dan-yr-Ogof caves.

Their sheep dog Badger had gone missing last Wednesday, and on Sunday afternoon they had a call to see he had been spotted by a climber.

The couple went out looking for him, but became separated.

Mrs Hurford made it back to the caravan park, but when her husband did not return she raised the alarm.

The dog has still not been found, but the couple said they had not given up looking for him.
