After the excitement of arriving at university, it is time for undergraduates to get down to work.
Bobbie, a 20-year-old on a fine art course at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, is writing an online diary for BBC disability website Ouch!
In her second week, she describes the difficulties she has in lectures due to her physical problems.
The second instalment of her diary can be found by clicking on the link below the above picture.
She also tells of her pleasure at going to art class, and the simple joy of a day out with friends on the beach.
"I love life drawing," she writes.
"I love the study of the figure and how different poses and compositions can convey different meanings."
But there is also the realisation that she has to look to her own resources to make a success of university life.
"Overall, this week has been really draining," she says.
"It's a bit of a shock to the system to suddenly jump into university life, with lectures and work and so much responsibility weighing on my shoulders."
You will also find similar diaries by three other disabled students around the UK, and you can return to the same site for instalments in subsequent weeks.
