Hollywood couple's Welsh weekend
![]() Ms Zeta Jones was picked up from the Airport by her father Dai
Catherine Zeta Jones and fiancé Michael Douglas have been spending a long weekend in south Wales to show off their baby son.
The pair flew in from Bermuda in a private 19-seater Gulfstream IV jet to land at Cardiff International Airport at 1800BST on Saturday.
After an hour's drive to Swansea, the couple threw a party for the actress's relatives and friends. "I must admit they are more interested in Dylan than they in me," said Douglas, who spent an afternoon testing out the area's golf courses. "We are spending a few days and showing Dylan off to Catherine's relatives and friends. "Dylan is fantastic and he's having a great time over here. We are both very proud of him." Among those Dylan was introduced to was great-grandmother Zeta Jones from whose Christian name his mother adopted. Then on Saturday night, diners in Barrows restaurant in the Mumbles, were stunned when the couple walked in with Ms Jones's parents Pat and Dai. Solicitor Clive Meredith said: "I was having a drink when someone said: "You'll never guess who has just walked in.
"I turned and saw Catherine and Michael Douglas - they looked incredibly glamorous and had that real Hollywood look about them. "It looked like a really happy family occasion - Catherine's mum and dad were there along with other relatives." Swansea-born pop star Bonnie Tyler was in the restaurant at the time and went over to congratulate the couple on their new baby and forthcoming wedding in New York next month. They stayed in the bridal suite at Swansea's Marriott Hotel for the weekend along with baby Dylan and his American nanny. But On Sunday, Ms Jones and her family called at her parent's home in the Mayals area of the city. "Catherine looks wonderful and is really enjoying motherhood," said a family friend. "She said she has been looking forward to coming home to Swansea ever since Dylan was born. She wanted all the family to meet him." The pair are expected to spend a few days in Wales before flying to Douglas's luxury holiday home in Majorca.
