Reports say the couple will marry in New York

Hollywood couple Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas are set to marry in New York in November, it has been reported.

According to newspaper reports, the ceremony has been arranged to take place in the city's Plaza hotel.

A spokesman for Douglas was quoted as saying: "The Plaza in New York has been booked for months and there has never been any question of the couple holding their ceremony anywhere else.

"It is a fantastic venue which will provide the perfect backdrop for their big day."

The couple - who are reportedly worth $200m - have remained secretive about details of their wedding, following their engagement on Millennium Eve.

These latest reports follow news that the Swansea-born actress signed a £600,000 deal for exclusive photographs with their baby Dylan.

OK! magazine beat off competition from rival publications to ensure its most expensive deal since the £1m coverage of David and Victoria Beckham's marriage.

Pictures of the family will appear in the magazine next week.

It is not clear, though, if Douglas, 55, and Ms Jones, 30, have also signed a deal with the magazine to cover their much anticipated wedding.

The Hollywood couple have spent time and energy preventing paparazzi photographers sneaking pictures of Dylan, who was born on 9 August.

OK! editor Martin Townsend splashed out on the deal in the hope of repeating the success of the Beckham wedding coverage, which added 550,000 sales.

Earlier in the summer, the couple set aside work commitments in preparation for the birth of Dylan - who bears the name of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.
