Cardiff murder may be case of 'mistaken identity'

Police are investigating claims that the murder of a teenager at his home in Cardiff may be a case of mistaken identity.

A-level student Aamir Siddiqi, 17, was killed with a 'bladed weapon' and his parents attacked by two men in their home in Roath.

Det Chief Supt Stuart McKenzie, who is leading the investigation, said: "It is clearly a hypothesis of ours that Aamir was mistakenly targeted.
