The snowfall didn't affect the sheep at Maengwynedd, near Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys
Snow has fallen in parts of mid and north Wales and rugby league side the Crusaders had to issue an appeal for help to clear the snow from the pitch.
Earlier North Wales Police said heavy snow is affecting much of the force area including Wrexham, Chirk, Llangollen and Ewloe.
Volunteers in Wrexham helped at the Racecourse to clear the pitch ahead of the Crusaders game.
The Crusaders took on and beat Hull 18-16 on Sunday.
Speaking earlier on Saturday, Gareth Jones from the club said: "It looks like we have had quite a bit of snow.
"Thankfully the staff at the Racecourse had put a cover on the pitch."
But he said that snow needed to be cleared from the cover in order to be able to lift it for the game to be played.

Around 30 volunteers helped after an appeal from the club.
Earlier the A487 between Bridge Street and Rhiw Staerdywyll in Corris, Gwynedd, was closed in both directions after a bus skidded in the snow blocking the road.
However, it has since reopened after the bus was removed and the snow cleared.
Meanwhile, heavy snow in the north west of England forced the South Wales Scorpions game against Wigan Warriors to be cancelled at Neath after the English team could not get to the venue.
