Demand for Welsh Christmas trees


The weakness of the pound has led to a big increase in demand for home-grown Christmas trees, according to the British Christmas Tree Growers Association.

With trees from Scandinavia now 30% more expensive to import, one major Welsh grower says he's been receiving desperate last-minute orders from suppliers trying to get hold of trees.

Radio Wales' Tom Singleton went to meet him.
