Family, friends and former colleagues of the legendary Welsh broadcaster Wynford Vaughan-Thomas have gathered in Fishguard in Pembrokeshire to celebrate his life and work.
His career spanned more than 50 years, until his death aged 79 in 1987.
One of his best known reports was made as war correspondent for the BBC in September 1943, and was recorded in a Lancaster bomber during a raid over Berlin.
